This gravity separation equipment is composed of a sloped table deck covered with riffles, a head motion driving system, and adjustable water distribution channels. During operation, a slurry of mixed minerals is fed onto the deck, and as the table vibrates longitudinally, lighter particles move to the top while heavier particles settle and move downward. This process results in an efficient stratification and separation of minerals into high-grade concentrate, middlings, and tailings.
